Ammonium Sulphate

Most trusted and eminent Manufacturer, Supplier, Wholesaler and Exporter of High and Premium Quality Ammonium Sulphate, Ferrous Sulfate, Ferrous Sulphate Anhydrous.

Ammonium Sulphate (NH4)2SO4, is an inorganic salt with a number of commercial uses. The most common use is as a soil fertilizer. It contains 21% nitrogen and 24% sulphur. The primary use of ammonium sulphate is as a fertilizer for alkaline soils. In the soil the ammonium ion is released and forms a small amount of acid, lowering the pH balance of the soil, while contributing essential nitrogen for plant growth. It is also used as an agricultural spray adjuvant for water-soluble insecticides, herbicides, and fungicides. There, it functions to bind iron and calcium cautions that are present in both well water and plant cells.

We packed our Ammonium Sulphate in 25 kg Multicolour strong Woven Polypropylene bags with a PP inner liner. Depending on customer requirement we also pack in Jumbo bags (1.1Mts), 50 kg and 25 kg HDPE bags.

Applications of Ammonium Sulphate

  •  Ammonium Sulphate is used as Food additive
  •  It is used as an acidity regulator in flours and breads.
  •  Ammonium sulphate is used on a small scale in the preparation of other ammonium salts, especially ammonium per sulphate.
  •  Ammonium sulphate is listed as an ingredient for many United States vaccines per the Centre for Disease Control.
  •  Ammonium sulphate has been used as a wood preservative,

Mono Ammonium Phosphate (MAP) is a widely used source of phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N). It’s made of two constituents common in the fertilizer industry and contains the most phosphorus of any common solid fertilizer. The process for manufacturing MAP is relatively simple. In a common method, a one-to-one ratio of ammonia (NH3) and phosphoric acid (H3PO4) is reacted and the resulting slurry of MAP is solidified in a granulator.
